Kidd to GS, it can work and they got the best bait to offer NJ
Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Golden State and New Jersey being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Golden State and New Jersey had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

If the Nets would take Baron Davis I think the Warriors should include him. I don't see the point of having him and Kidd on the same team.

Naa Kidd and Davis both would be great for GS.
just think Davis could move to 2 and Asubiake can be a 3.
Thats almost a ticket to the wcf.

i don't think the warriors are moving their captain after the run they've been on with him back in the lineup.

Kidd and Davis would be a great backcourt.

NO WAY WE ARE GOING TO TRADE BARON!!!
The Nets can keep J-Kidd. I think it's better for us to keep Ellis and watch his development. As for Jackson, I'm pretty sure he is untouchable for the time being.

Why would Golden State do this? They don't need Kidd (not at that price tag).

LOL @ this. Baron is better AND younger than Kidd, not to mention the perfect fit in the system, team leader, etc. The Warriors are worse with Kidd replacing Baron (no way they win that Dallas series with any other point guard)... and really there's no point in having Kidd and Davis, so that probably wouldn't work either.

Kobe is not having Jordan's PPG because Kobe isnt selfish as Michael Jordan. He plays for the team where as Jordan played only for himself.

I say trade Monta. Monta is no true pg and being young does not mean much if a player just cannot change certain things. I say go for the gusto and deal him for Kidd for a shot at the title.
