Game # 30 Golden State (17-12) vs. Denver (17-11)
Preview: Dubs are in third place in the competitive Pacific, the Clips are fading as Kaman's shooting percentage hits a wall among other problems for them. Sac is playing surprisingly well for Theus but is still pretty far behind the top 3 of Phx, LA and GS. The game features two of the three highest scoring teams in the NBA with Phx leading the way. Don't look for much defense but Camby is a difference maker as evidenced by him having a triple double including 10 blocks Wednesday. I'd like to get Camby in foul trouble because their interior defense isn't very good without him.
Diddy is shooting only 41% this year on 18+ attempts per game. I'd like to see that percentage get closer to 45% and maybe see Nellie use his ****ing bench but I doubt either happens anytime soon.
Injury Notes: Ellis was sore after the 35 point outburst with back pains due to a fall but isn't listed as being out for tonight's game. It'll be interesting to monitor his movements in this game, we haven't seen him play through many injuries.
Nene Hilario returned for the Nuggets which would give them depth since Kenyon Martin returned the same game. Karl's rotation of the two is extremely inconsistent though so their contribution might be minimized.

A fun game to watch, but I had a sense the entire time that the W's wouldn't be able to climb over the top. The D wasn't there consistently, and AI was torching us.
Why I love Jim Barnett: as soon as I think it (or before), he's saying it aloud. He talked about the W's needing to make consecutive stops on the defensive end late in the 2nd half - it was the W's inability to do just that that pretty much cost them this game.
Re-match could be ugly - unless we light it up from the get go (44/104 FG???), I can see us getting run out of the building Sunday night.

Jax with a horrible shooting night, although the symmetry of him shooting 33% from both the floor and there pt range was funny. Better defense tonight please, and by better defense I mean any defense, since we're ironically playing like that old Paul Westhead nuggets team that didn't play any defense.
