Re: GT #70: Los Angeles Lakers (48-22) @ Golden State Warriors (43-26) - 3/24
Pietrus is questionable for tonight, too.
Lakers-Warriors Preview
Quote:
Coming off a thrilling 115-11 victory over the Lakers, the Warriors will look to make it two wins over Los Angeles in as many nights on Monday at ORACLE Arena. Single-game tickets for this contest are sold out, but Warriors fans can still purchase tickets to this highly-anticipated game by using using Warriors TicketExchange.
As Warriors broadcaster Bob Fitzgerald pointed out in his latest Blog Squad entry, Sunday’s triumph in Los Angeles proved to be huge for the Warriors. Not only did it snap a nine-game road losing streak against the Lakers that dated back to January of 2003, but it also maintained Golden State’s position in the Western Conference standings. With Denver winning earlier in the day, the Warriors needed their dramatic win on Sunday to remain 1.5 games ahead of the Nuggets for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.
ORACLE Arena is sure to provide a playoff-like atmosphere on Monday, as Golden State will be closing out its season series with Los Angeles. The Warriors lead the season series 2-1, and should they post a victory on Monday, it would mark the first time the Warriors will have won a season series with the Lakers since the 1994-95 season.

Jackson with the 3. He's an assassin out there.
Then turnover, and WOW Baron goes behind the back and lays it in.
60-50 less than a min left

Lakers cut it to 5. Warriors up 72-67 7:04 left in the 3rd.
Feels like they're down more for some reason. It's just gone back and forth between 8-10 lead for awhile.

Re: GT #70: Los Angeles Lakers (48-22) @ Golden State Warriors (43-26) - 3/24
Lakers have had a strangle hold most of this qrter since they took the lead. They were up 110-104, a couple of turnovers and scores later. Warriors with 1. 110-109.
Lamar going to the line 9.9 secs left.
Misses the first.
Makes the 2nd.

Baron to the line, and tie game. 110-110 with 3.6 secs left.
...and Fisher misses. Overtime.

Horrible call on Ellis. Kobe was wrapped around Baron, and Fisher was wrapped around Ellis... Horrible...

Yeah that was a bad call and a bad way to end a good game.

I was one of many Warriors fans who still respected Derek Fisher prior to this game. All of it is now gone. Fisher can probably look forward to a good round of booing next time the two teams meet.
