Grizz fan here. I recently read that Jerry West is working on a trade for Erick Dampier.

Would you guys do any of these? I already checked realgm and the salaries work out.

Wesley Person for Erick Dampier
Wesley Person and Brevin Knight for Dampier and Fortson

Person and Knight would only be on the books this season, so it would give you some serious cap relief. Wesley Person is probably the best 3pt shooter in the league and would give you another veteran. You guys could also use Knight since it looks like you need another point guard.

And everyone knows Memphis needs a center.

wow...in my opinion i think it's an awesome trade. both financially for next season, and in talent. person, can straight hit the 3 and is that outside threat. brevin knight, is a true PG, as in he is a distributor which is what the warrior's need. all for just dampier and fortson. i think foyle could step up and start, and fortson just isn't needed.

and if you add stromile swift that would be even better

I think the trade is fair for both sides. Warriors get a pg they need and we'd get a center we need. The salaries work for Person and Knight for Dampier and Fortson. The Warriors would have to add someone else if they want Stromile. I personally love Stro and would hate to see him go though. I just thought Warriors fans might be worried about who would back up Foyle because Stro can play pf/c. And I didn't want to come off as overrating our players because I think Dampier is a solid center.

Knight for Foyle works straight up as well if that sounds better to you guys.
