If GSW got the #1 pick next year
would they trade it, or would they keep it??
they do have good players at SF/SG, or would they let LeBron play the 1, where he can play, but not utilising his talents

The Warriors Would Keep The Pick...
If they got the first overall. It's the LeBron James. The Warriors could start James at the PG spot and run the Triangle through James, Richardson, Jamison since it doesn't require a true PG.

I like the sound of that
James, Richardson and jamison...That has a nice ring to it don't you think? Well, the Rockets didn't have good odds at landing the #1 and look what happened. Maybe next year we can get lucky. It's about time

I think they would trade it to a team for a good young center.

I agree, i can see the warriors maybe trying to trade the pick for a prvwen center. or like some one else said since the warriors are in need of a pg they could run james at the point. but i still believe that is kinda pushing it to try to shove a 6'7 or 6'8 guy to run the point

Who would the Warriors trade for? Is there a center in the league that would be worth a number one pick? Shaq is without a doubt out of the question. I mean what can the Warriors really get for next year's number one pick? (If they got it.) Most teams will give up their trash to make themselves better. There would be a very short list of players that I would trade for if the Warriors got the no. 1 pick. If LJ pans out to be the player that he promised to be, then the Warriors should keep him and move players w/in the lineup. Build the team around LJ and put your faith in his hands.

How are you going to trade that...
KANDI= MAX OR CLOSE TO MAX.
Maggette= SF/SG
PICKS= not worth a lot.. cause the clips are just going to get better meaning those are going to be low picks..
Plus with the contracts of Dampier till 2005 or something..
and Fortson till 2004 or 2005.. you can't afford Kandiman.
With MikeD. and Jiri ( can play 1,2,3 spots ) where are you going to put maggette.?
