Possible Free Agent signings and possible trades, what do you think? give feedback
With the possible signing of PG Rafer Alston of the bucks and Darvin Ham as well. The possible trade with the knicks with
Fortson and Mills for Ward and Knight.. Does this other move sound puzzling..
If these things were to happen the team would have...
4Point Guards
Gilbert Arenas
Charlie Ward ( Via Trade ) True Point?
Steve Logan ( still unsigned ? )
Rafer Alson ( Free agency )True Point ?
2 Shooting Guards
Jason Richardson ( break out season )
Bob Sura ( to be traded at a later date ? )
1 Combo Guard
Jiri Welsch
2 Small Fowards
Mike Dunleavy ( starting SF )
Darvin Ham ( Free agency )
2 Power Fowards
Antwan Jamison ( playing his natural position )
Troy Murphy ( has bulked up )
2 Centers ( both are not offensive jugernaughts but has some defense and will not make teams double team them to help spread
the floor for other team mates )
Eric Dampier
Adonyal Foyle
What do you guys think.. another log jam at the point like a few years ago? or are these moves signs of other moves to come.. like
Steve Logan possibly being moved, that is why he has not be signed yet?
Will this moves and draft make the team a better team?
Do you think the will improve them to the 30+ win platue?
I like it Nismo as long as Ward doesnt cause any trouble. If their contracts are more favorable than Fortson then I dont see why not. Ward has playoff experience and Alston is supposed to have "sick handles".
They can keep knight though.
I have a feeling that they just won't sign Logan or they'll sign him to a non-guaranteed deal like they will with Alston and whoever wins the backup job in camp will get the guaranteed money and the other will get cut.
I prefer to give up Sura instead of Mills. With Sura, Jrich and Welsch, we have a logjam at 2G. The Knicks could use a backup 2G like Sura and have Shandon Anderson backup the SF spot.
I know this sounds a little paranoid or silly, but I'm pretty damn sure that I posted a response on this thread yesterday, and now it's gone. What's that all about?
