The Chicago Bulls look to snap a six-game losing streak away from home when they continue their seven-game road trip with a matchup against the Golden State Warriors.

Chicago began its trip with a 102-92 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday, and fell 115-99 to the Denver Nuggets one night later for its eighth defeat in nine games.

The Bulls have lost six straight on the road since a 104-99 win over the New York Knicks on Jan. 2. Chicago, which went 3-38 away from home in 2002-03, has won just five of its 22 road games this season.

Eddy Curry had 21 points Wednesday and Jamal Crawford added 20 for the Bulls, who were outrebounded 63-41 in allowing their most points since a 124-98 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 25.

``The things we didn't want to happen in the beginning happened almost all night,'' Chicago coach Scott Skiles said. ``We didn't get back on defense, and they really ran back at us.''

Chicago will be looking to snap its skid in a place it hasn't won in exactly six years. The Bulls are 0-4 in Oakland since an 87-80 victory on Jan. 30, 1998.

Golden State beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 97-90 at home Wednesday for its second straight win following back-to-back losses.

Erick Dampier recorded his 23rd double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds, and all five Golden State starters scored in double figures as the Warriors won their third straight at home.

Dampier, fourth in the NBA in rebounding with 11.5 a game, said he hoped his performance would get him some consideration for the All-Star game in Los Angeles on Feb. 15.

Coaches will vote for the All-Star reserves in each conference, with ballots going out Thursday. Warriors coach Eric Musselman spent some time before the game calling his fellow coaches to campaign for Dampier.

``It'll make coaches pay more attention to the game I played tonight,'' Dampier said of Musselman's gesture. ``I just went out there and played. It was my last game before the (All-Star starters) come out, so I just wanted to have a good a game.''

Sorry, this is obviously fairly belated, as the game is already deep into a Warriors whipping of Chicago.

However, I will try to put up one of these before each game, so please think about dropping by during the game and giving thoughts/analysis/gripes/praises about the team or game.

Hopefully, game night can be a more active time around these parts.

So far, it is a killing of the Bulls. There is about 6 minutes remaining and the Warriors are up - 91/68 with the Warriors shooting more than 50% and the Bulls shooting 34%.

More comments later.

101/81 and it wasn't truly even that close because all of the GS starters were out at the last 2/3 minutes.

One thing I noticed about GS is their PASSION and the lack of that very emotion in the Bulls players. Even OLD, OLD Cliff Robinson displayed lots of passion. I would have to believe that this emotion comes from their coach and his assistants.

PS) One thing I did notice was the turnovers by GS - too many and especially too many by Cardinal.

The Bulls cannot shoot straight and Curry getting about 7/8 rebounds is nothing to shout about at his height.
