Jamison to Bulls?

Sam Smith of the Chicago Tribune is brainstorming to try and help the Bulls. Last week he suggested the Bulls should make a play for Miami’s overpaid big man Brian Grant. Now he has a new idea.
The Warriors’ Antawn Jamison.
Smith writes that the Bulls will need front court help to break the 30-win barrier. A trade for Jamison could put Chicago in the playoffs while maintaining their young core. The proposed trade is Jamal Crawford, Eddie Robinson and Marcus Fizer to Golden State for Antawn Jamison with a draft choice or Dalibor Bagaric thrown in.
The trade works for Golden State because they still have Danny Fortson to cover the power forward position. They have lots of young talent like Dunleavy and Murphy to build around and would be adding a young point guard in Crawford. Robinson would work well in an up-tempo offense with Jason Richardson.
The Bulls would be getting a 20-point scorer who can cover the power forward with Jalen Rose, Donyell Marshall, Jay Williams and either Tyson Chandler or Eddy Curry in the lineup. While Jamison’s contract will cost the Bulls a lot of money down the road, but they would fill the arena with a contending team.
