I don't know about videos, but I just want to tell you that your friends are wrong, you're supposed to shoot one handed, your weak hand is just supposed to guide and balance the ball. Watch any NBA game and the good shooters will only be using one hand for their shot.

Oh, you want to know how to shoot one handed. Well I had the exact same problem so I think I can help. What I did, was I would take the ball, and shoot it using only my shooting hand. Just have your other hand at your side. Balance the ball on your fingertips and make sure the ball is in the proper position. Also make sure you bend your knees and get all your power from your legs when you do this. I didn't shoot jumpers, I just shot standing set shots. It may not be very fun, but I was shooting one handed shots in a few days doing this. Do it at whatever range feels comfortable. I hope this helps.

Just shoot one handed close in, you need to get a good shooting form before you go out further
You opposite hand is only there for balance, so go really slowly when your starting to make sure you understand what to do

I have a better question for you, does your shot go in?
If you shot goes in, it doesn't matter how you shoot it. 2 handed, 1 handed, with your feet, who really cares as long as you are making it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If shooting is a weak point of your game though, you may want to think of making a switch.

Chances are you aren't going to grow up to be 6'10 like Shawn Marion, so it does matter how you shoot the ball. Normal height guys who shoot the ball with two hands get their shots blocked all the time.

Not necessarily. Though I'm not the greatest shooter (you won't confuse me for Peja), I've done well enough. I use the right form and everything, but I still use my guide hand as a kind of a last second push since I shoot across my body a little.
It's weird, but sometimes it can work.
