So who is it going to be this year?

I would have to say it is Wright State this year. They have a lot of new but very good players. They could gel and suprise some people.

Cigar Boy,
Are watching the same team as me. The team WSU has right now will be lucky to finish 7th! I was real disappointed in the new recruits! With only Seth and Nard we will have are hands full. The only gimmie on the schedual is Cederville, and I dont feel good about that one!

WSU82...I like Boyd and Lynch. Throw in the new and improved Andrew Burleson and this team is decent if they can stay away from injuries. Oh yeah the Koch kid from Indiana is a marksman. So they can certainly sneak up on everyone.

My job takes me to may cities. I have seen many college teams over my 40 + years. I can say this, other than Seth this team has no hope this year at all ! Sorry, but I believe this is a fact! No height, no depth! Just like last year!

Hey my job used to take me all over the country too. I now just travel for the book I am writing on college basketball arenas. I seen games in over 140 arenas. I should see 60 or so games this year.
How about Venard Hollins???? There are 326 other teams that would love to have him. I was with Tim Buckley the Ball State coach today and he was talking about how good he was.

If Detroit plays to its potential, they could make a run. They are very athletic (jump, speed, tough) and fairly talented. The problem is that there are a few new players that we are expecting a lot from (Thues and Baker) and if they don't produce Detroit will likely finish as projected.
P.S. Glad to find the board. I've posted a link on the Detroit message board about this board: www.detroittitanhoops.com Its a pretty active board so hopefully some will stop by here.

Welcome to the site Willie Fan and we don't want to steal you guys away from your home boards. Just kind of want to make this a hub board for the conference, where you can get updates on all the programs.
Hope to have many more discussions with you about the HL.

And the answer is...
Cleveland State...
Rollie is gone, and so is half the sorry team he put on the floor last season.
And in comes Mike Garland and the what appears to be the state of Michigan behind him.
Lucky us...
Hooray! We're no longer doormats!
