Re: So I Was Watching FSN
he's getting along in years, but he has been playing international ball, working out, and should be effective in spot minutes. he's been interested in being a player coach and what better guy to teach stro how to rebound and defend. just imagine him taking bowen's minutes. what could it hurt?
edit: im not worried about hte guy being a freak, hes been turning his life around. he doesnt drink anymore and becoming more of a family man.

Sounds right, but is he still willing to play? How much are we gonna pay him?
It's just not practical. I doubt JVG'll ever agree to sign him in.

he just signed a 2 game deal with a european team. he said in the behind the glory that he just wants to come back and finish his career on his terms. i dont really think he would expect more than the minimum, hes not exactly a hot commodity right now. as to whether or not the team wants to, i have no idea. this is just something i thought and was wondering about the rest of yalls opinion. i dont expect anything to happen.

Re: So I Was Watching FSN
we dont really need another post, and if we do choose to go after one, I'd prefer it be a 6'11", athletic, jumping-jack type...the brutes of the past are no longer and we need a big who can run and jump...

rodman was hardly just a brute of the past. he guarded SFs, PFs, Cs, leaped and rebounded with the best of them, and was versatile. obviously he wont be the same now, but i think he will provide the toughness we need for 10 minutes a game. we arent going to be able to get the PF you described plus with rodman we get a guy who can help stro, the closest thing we have to what you described.

No. He would not get along with Van Gundy.

Re: So I Was Watching FSN
i saw that behind the glory thing - isn't it old? I used to like Rodman, despite his ADD. If he can bring maybe 1/3 of his previous efforts of his younger days why not give him a few workouts maybe he can give a good 10 mins or so... doubt it will ever happen tho.
Artest seems like he wants to be traded, maybe we can work something out (if we want him, that is).

Re: So I Was Watching FSN
Who is that?! He freaked me out....
Rodman? You're kidding right?! How's about signing Patrick Ewing or Clyde Drexler to the team, to be a starter?!
