Ryan Bowen the most versatile player in the NBA

Van Gundy once said Ryan Bowen is one of the most versatile player in the NBA. He said he is the best in his team....He can play every spot.

I agree with gundy because He equally sucks at every spots. So, every time gundy want to have a filter player, he think of bowen, that's the secret.

you got to hand it to bowen.. he and mcgrady shut down dirk during the playoffs.. he hustles all the time on the court no matter what and he helps alot in defense, he just cant shoot and should be taken out of the game when ever the rockets have possesion.

Re: Ryan Bowen the most versatile player in the NBA

and if my memory serves me right, wasn't it bowen that got the steal and fast break point against the spurs which then led to 2 three's by mcgrady, one of which became a 4 point play that gave mcgrady hope to win the game whick in the end gave tmac 13 points in 35 seconds?

my point is that bowen isnt all that bad and has helped this team in times of needs which is why i beleive coach praises him so much, its not because van gundy "falls in love scrub players" as other would say.

I just watched that the other day.. it was Scott Padgett that did that... got the steal at the end.

Yes, Scott Padgett was the one who got the steal the night of the 81-80 win over S.A

Scott was great for us, now he's been reduced to nothing in NJ.

He'd definitely be getting nice minutes if he were in Houston now.

Not really, he's a good defensive player, it was normal.
