Requers a thread - Eddie trade
Got any ideas?
the only thing i can think of is Eddie + Rice = Shariff
If they still don't like it so we can add a 2nd rounder
generally i'm against such traid, i think Eddie should stay - he is very talented.

Forget about it, your name's cool. No, read the entire Jay William thread, and a couple of the other threads below this. This is a valid trade for the offseason:
Shareef Abdur Rahim
for
Eddie Griffin
Glen Rice
2004 first round pick
The Hawks would jump on this, the question is whether Rockets want to sacrifice Griffin and their only veteran leader.

In my opinion it's an awesome traid.
I'll only feel sorry for giving up on Eddie, for some reason I have a feeling that he is going to be something...
And about the nick, if it was up to me i would have kept it but i was asked by some of the forum managers to change it - I can understand that, it is kind of confusing - but thank you for understanding.
The nick will be changed to DanCaspi (dan is my first name, caspi is the last)

Griffin, Rice and a pick? of course I'd jump all over that. Griffin, I think, plays defense and has offense potential. And 1st round picks are always good.
it gives houston a once-allstar PF in the east and can be a good complimentary player to Yao and Stevie.

That's $55 million for only 7 players, although the rest can be signed quite cheaply. This won't give the Rockets any other long term prospects and means that if they are gonna win the championship, it will have to be with a starting 5 of:
PG Francis
SG Mobley
SF Posey
PF Abdur Rahim
C Yao Ming
And as many good individual players as there are there, I'm just not sure if they are a championship caliber team, as they have no uber SUPERSTARS and many inconsistent stars... It's all upto how Yao will develop.
