I don't think I can have much of an opinion here since I only started watching the NBA in 2000.
But for those who have been Rockets' fans longer, do you agree with this team? Could Yao (05-06) be in it? Who would you choose?
PS: Vote!!

Re: Rockets All-Time Roster
If Yao has just one more season similar to what he had this year then there won't be anything keeping him off that list. Ralph Sampson was great but his career and production were cut short which, in my mind, makes Yao the better player. Rudy T was the man but he aint got nothin on Yao.

Re: Rockets All-Time Roster
Yao should've been enlisted the moment he entered the league.

Re: Rockets All-Time Roster
If we're pretending that the side is actually going to compete, then I really can't see a place for Yao on there, even if he does play at the same level as he did after the All-Star Break. Moses and Hakeem were both better, and Sampson would complement them better than Yao would.

Re: Rockets All-Time Roster
i know clyde wasnt in his prime his 4 years here, but i still think he should have made it somewhere on that team.
edit:wait, was this done so each player could only be on one team so clyde would only be on portland?

And only one season, no career.

The only rule: a player can appear on only one roster. So we put Kareem on the Lakers, not the Bucks. Barkley went to the Sixers instead of the Suns. We also identified one specific year for the player: the Lakers don't get "Magic Johnson," they get "Magic Johnson 1987," when he averaged 23.9 points, 12.2 assists and won the MVP.
