Yao is a back to the basket post up player. KG can be a back to the basket post up player but, he also likes to fade away and shot the 10 to 15 foot jumper around the free throw line as well.
I like the idea of when Yao goes out that we can send another beast down to the blocks. Only problem here is the whole "Robbing Peter to pay Paul" thing.
You fill one hole and create another.
KG/MJames for TMac/Bonzi/JHo. (A guy can dream!)

Hey, I fully expected Chuck to come off the bench in the NBA (if he ever got the call up at all), his starting so many games this season is a bonus. If the Rox acquired a legit PF (well legit as in a little taller and with an outside shot) I would be happy with Chuck being the best 6th man in the business.
The downside to any trade for KG is... I like TMac. I like TMac with Yao, I like TMac with Chuck, heck, I even like TMac with Luther Head.
As for making Mike James part of the trade, he looked good last year and will probably improve as the season goes on... but do you want him back in Houston when he didn't "really" wanna be here. I mean he had to know this team had a legit chance at a title but refused because of a trade kicker?? Instead he goes to Minnesota?? Yes he said he wants to be here, but wouldn't it have been better to take the deal with Houston and prove on the court that they needed him to stay instead of making it a contractural obligation to keep him??
KG seems the type of player that could be a benefit on any team, but especially one like Houston. Would he clog up the middle? Not necessarily, doesn't he shoot from outside the lane as well?
Wow.. I'm babbling.. back to work!!
