Checkout the link, scroll down at the very bottom. These two Suns fans feel that Amare right now, is better than Yao and Shaq when there both healthy. Personally of course i disagree, as i tried to hold down the Rockets fort on that site (3rd page). So far he never responded.Basically saying Amare's having the better year and always were since the start of the Rookie year.

But what do yall think. Amare is playing great, but better than Shaq and Yao on the floor? Nah i just cant see it.

Yao was clearly better than Amare this season. Too bad yao likely lost any chance of being the MVP for this year.

I think in the first 3 years if you consider the minutes played Yao & Amare are extremely close. Yao is a better rebounder and defender in general. Ofcourse Amare playing with the high scoring Suns has tended to have a higher scoring average (but if you consider minutes then it evens out alot)

If you went on rebounds & points per minute Yao would beat Amare on rebounds everytime & close to even up on points. Also consider the how many points the Rockets score and compare to that of the Suns, Yao's input is greater to his side. Could Amare do what Yao was doing averaging 30/10 in games when TMAC was out?

Take Nash away from Amare and he's nothing compared to Yao.

Yao is better and Shaq too, because they don't have elite PG and they are not PF playing C. Amare can still prove his stance if they trade him away to a team like say no Joe Johnson's Hawks.

Amare's more athletic, Yao's a better shooter than both of them and Shaq is a building. Amare and Shaq dont have the numbers Yao has so I go with Yao.
