uhm, that's a crappy trade. We don't need another undersized SG in Flip Murray (they say he's a PG but he doesn't play like one), and Dale Davis plays like he's Deke's age.

Not going to happen.
Though I wouldnt call it disastrous if it does.
Would strengthen our weakest positions PF & PG only problem is these two might not even get any game time.
Dale probably wont get game time ahead of Hayes and Howard.
Murray is he a Point guard to begin with? Plus he would only get 12mins can Head play those 12 mins better.
PS breaking news I think ballscientist is just making up stuff again....

He did say in his blog that he will have more on Flip's status with the organization in todays paper but it isn't updated yet.

Well we need to dump Sura, he still has one more year at 3.8 million left.
Bonzi is going to opt out next year and probably not return to Houston.
Flip will make the dog house with JVG I think, so he wont see much playing time, and he is only making 1.5 mill this year and next.
DD is just old, and his contract is about to expire.
I dont really see why not
We would have Suras contract off the book, Davis would expire, bonzi wil opt out, Taskilitwhatever as 2.9 comming off, charlie ward, and ryan bowens salary comes off. Thats about 12 million comming off the books next year! Almost 14 million is murray does not take his player option! Makes it perfect to do something in the offseason.
I say go for it!
Have KG opt out of his contract in MN, and sign him for a reduced amount come offseason. we can afford 10-12 mill a year for 2-3 years!
