Here is something to celebrate for NJIT fans that are waiting for the men's team to register its first win this season.....
Nesho Milosevic has been named the national NCAA Division I Independent men's basketball Player of the Week. He registered 17.3 points average, 8.7 rebounds average and 2 steals in the games against Lehigh, Rider and Maine. See

The NJIT team is definitely missing its graduated seniors this season as it is performing worse than its 1st season with 9 games and no win.
NJIT which just made the new Prudential Center home would be hosting 6 matches (4 men's and 2 women's) there this season including 1 men's game with Texas - Pan America and 1 women's game with Chicago State.
I have a feeling somehow they would win their 1st match against Army at the Prudential Center this week like the way they won the 1st match last season and the 1st home match... They desperately need a win going into the 10th game and this is the logical time to do it....
The Women's team already registered their 1st win this season on 28 Nov 2007 with a 58-44 victory over the defending America East Champion, University of Maryland at Balitmore County (UMBC) at home in the
Estelle and Zoom Fleisher Athletic Center.
Go Highlanders go....prove the critics wrong and show that you are a Division 1 team....
