NJIT's Men's basketball head coach, Jim Casciano, has resumed duties after taking an absence of leave for health reason from 11 Nov 2007.

Wendell Alexis, who was the interim coach, for 12 games, would return to his regular position of assistant coach.

Coach Jim Casciano, would officially lead the Highlanders again against Central Florida before the end of the year.

Now that the head coach is back and the players are well rested, we should be seeing the much needed win in the next few games.....it really was tough on Wendell Alexis earlier on coaching a undermanned team (1 coach less than adequate) that has more than 50% freshmen and playing a very hectic schedule.

Go Highlanders go.......your fans are waiting to a better-than 2006-2007 season.....
