No, Dakich and Ellis were dismissed by Dakich. They never 'quit' the team. Crean has the power to re-instate them.

BTW i took a campus tour of IU today...it's an incredibly nice campus.

I remember reading that they quit on the team then they were just booted off the team by Dakich. I can't find the article though. And I found that Bassett and Ellis could possibly be back next year.

There is still the possibility that Crean could bring back both Bassett and Ellis, however. The two were reprimanded by then-interim coach Dan Dakich after first missing a pre-arranged appointment last week, and then kicked off for not reporting for a 6 a.m. punishment run the following day.

I just wanted to drop in and say that I'll be going to college at Ivy Tech Bloomington next year, and then I'll be going to IU afterwards, if everything works out well. Maybe I'll try out for the team..
