Re: Did Commissioner Leave Door Ajar for Artest?

Artest meets with Stern but return not discussed.

If anyone honestly believes Artest's return wasn't discussed at that meeting then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Stern was basically interviewing Artest to see if he'd be allowed to come back this year. If Artest is coming back, we'll know before long. If we haven't heard anything by this time next week, he's done for the year.

Well, they did meet, that we know now. Supposedly they did not talk about reinstatement this year, which I still find hard to believe. So as of now we have to assume he isn't coming back this year. I still have a gut feeling we will be hearing a little something extra within a few days tho.

Re: Did Commissioner Leave Door Ajar for Artest?

I think Stern needs to stop being so damn stubborn and reinstate Artest already, Stern has made his point he is the king sh*t, we get it already. Artest has already paid his debt to society and it would do absolutely no harm in reinstating him for the last 20-25 games of this season, It is time for this to be over and done with and bring Artest back into the NBA where he belongs.

Well said, I don't think that anybody here would disagree.
