1st round of playoffs Bulls or Celtics?
Who would you rather face?
I say Chicago, cuz they got no experience, but they are young. THe Celtics have had a good 2nd half, but I still don't think that they are that good of a team. I think Indy should be able to beat both of them.

Re: 1st round of playoffs Bulls or Celtics?
Well, both teams pose different types of threats against us. I agree that we should be able to beat the both. I kind of want to say Boston, because we are basically guaranteed home court against them...plus I then I could get tickets to the games. So I'll say Boston. But I know we'll end up playing chicago.

I'd rather face Chicago. We've already had our revenge against Boston, so I want Reggie to be able to pass Chicago, or at least lose to them in his final games.

Boston, because it gives us a better chance to advance to the second round.

I'd rather play Chicago, Curry is gone and they are still young, but Chicago always seems to make it a good game against us.

Re: 1st round of playoffs Bulls or Celtics?
i think, honestly, we'd have an easier time w/ boston based on past playoff situations and what we've done in the regular season but i'd love to see reggie get to FINALLY win a playoff series against the bulls. sure, it wouldnt be the same since it's a whole new bulls team, but w/e. i think we're getting to the 2nd round no matter what. i'm only afraid of detroit and miami... i honestly think that an eastern team is gonna win it all this year. if i had to put money on it i'd say a detroit repeat but i think the champ will come out of the east this year; detroit, miami, or indy.

Boston it is.
Matters which Boston team shows up.
I like what Indiana has done. Getting Jerm back can't hurt.
I (for one) am cheering for the Pacers to pull it out on the Celts.
Nice to see hard work go rewarded.

Re: 1st round of playoffs Bulls or Celtics?
Pacers problematic for C's in playoffs
Quote:
``You've got to figure Indiana is going to be a tougher team to go against than Washington,'' said Paul Pierce [news], focusing on the Green's two most likely foes. ``They've got more experience in the playoffs, more veteran players, a great coach. Washington hasn't really been proven in the playoffs yet. They've shown they're talented and they've made the playoffs, but the playoffs is a whole different game. And for most of the guys on that team, this is their first time making the playoffs. Indiana knows what to expect. That could make them more dangerous than Washington.''
The Pacers have lost two straight, but they got Jermaine O'Neal back from his shoulder injury yesterday. However, they will still be without the suspended Ron Artest in the postseason.
What does that mean?
``Fewer bruises,'' Pierce said.
``They're still a difficult team even though he's probably their best player,'' he said of the Pacers and Artest. ``They're still tough. They're playing well. They're playing tough defense, and everybody knows that's what's going to win games in the playoffs. And then Reggie Miller . . . he's playing like he's back in his prime. That don't help.''

Re: 1st round of playoffs Bulls or Celtics?
wow i cant even believe some of yall said Celtics, I think wed blow right by the Bulls they are inexpierienced even with Curry. The Celtics have Walker/Pierce/Davis/LaFrentz/Payton plus a decent bench, that would b hard to stop all those players especially without Artest, not to mention the refs screwed the pacers agaisnt the celtics last time
