david stern
Man if it wasn't for stupid david stern suspending artest for the rest of the sean AND playoffs, the pacers, I think, would win the championship easily this year. The nba desperately needs a new commisioner cuz this guys is seriously retarted. If it wasn't for bird, magic, and jordan saving the league, he wouldn't even have a job right now. I'm a kings fan, don't get me wrong, but I wanna see regie win a ring and I damn don't want shaq and the rest of the west to win a ring. I wouldn't mind detroit repeating, but look who there playing right now.

Re: david stern
Stern was at the game tonight with about 7 bodyguards...
We boo'd him when he got up and roamed the floor at halftime.

They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you! Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers!" Can I get an amen? Can I get a hallelujah? Thank you Jesus.

That's great to hear. He deserves that kind of treatment.
So I suppose u were at the game. Is the stadium as loud as it was during the bulls rivalry years? Actually, come to think of it, u were only like 7 during those years, so u might not remember.

I have no idea how loud it was in the Bulls rivalry years, but it was pretty loud last night. We all were on our feet for the last 2-3 minutes of the game...

Re: david stern
I agree, i think Indiana would have been champions (or in the finals, and once you're in anything can happen) with Artest, but the fact is, Artest messed up and went into the crowd and Stern suspended him. I think it's a dead issue, because the guys we have right now have a job to do and if they believe, then anything can happen.
Playing the what if game is silly IMO, let's talk about Artest next season and talk about the current guys who are fighting a very important battle against Detriot.... and winning it.

Re: david stern
WIth the way the Pacers have been playing, if they win the championship... it'll be the best story in the NBA for many years to come...
Hell, if there was a ritual I could do to the gods of basketball for the Pacers to win... I might do it (as long as I don't die)
