Through three games, the Pacers' bench has dominated its counterpart:

Perhaps this is the reward for all the misery they suffered during the regular season.
The Indiana Pacers have shown they have reserves in greater quantity and quality than Detroit through the first three games of their second-round playoff matchup, an advantage that could provide their best hope of upsetting the defending NBA champions.
Pistons coach Larry Brown has given meaningful minutes to just two players off his bench -- Lindsey Hunter and Antonio McDyess. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle is playing five reserves consistently, and isn't afraid to go with all seven.
Don't look for that to change, either. Brown believes he simply can't afford the luxury of playing more people.
"If our team was a little deeper, then you go a little deeper," he said Saturday. "I'd like to play more guys, that's obvious."
