So Sorry ...
This one is all about me ("I"):
"I" stopped by to say that I am so sorry that you were unable to knock of Detroit. But, you should be proud of your fans and the send off they gave Reggie!!! It was heartfelt and made me shed tears.
"I" also want to congratulate you on a phenominal season. I don't know any other team that could have survived and competed at such a high level with all that has happened to them.
"I" am SICK, absolutely SICK that it was Detroit that kept them from advancing when it was DETROIT that caused their problems this year. Who wrote THAT script? However, I DO like how even Channel 7 had the decency not to give Ben Wallace air time on Reggie's day.
"I'm" willing to bet Jermaine and Steven were somewhere crying; they cared and tried just that hard to get it done specifically for Reggie. What a team, they gave it their all ... just didn't have anything left after running on adrenaline all year trying to fill in the blanks to keep going, AND THEY ALMOST MADE IT .....
EDIT: Added, "It's all about me".

Re: So Sorry ...
Look what happens to my posts when I insult people! They get edited!.....ben wallace is pure class. the pacer problems were the fault of two people. both pacers. i cant believe you can bash the pistons after the class and decency they showed tonight and they always are.
Oops, I got edited again!

Re: So Sorry ...
I'm proud of our fans, too. As someone on the NBA board said, we sure did better than the pathetic send-off Jazz fans gave to John Stockton and Karl Malone.
You could really tell our guys wanted to win this one for Reggie. It's a shame Stephen Jackson played so horribly in the last game of the season, because he's been great all playoffs. This guy is a warrior and a winner and I'm happy to have him on the team.
On the Pistons, I'm not bitter about losing to them any more than I would be about losing to any other team. I agree with your thoughts on Ben Wallace, I lost respect for him for throwing a tantrum both times we beat them on their court during the regular season, but other than him and Rasheed, the rest of their players are good guys and so is their coach.

are you kidding me????!!!!!!! I'll give you Rasheed....he's the closest we have to a villian. But BEN WALLACE......the first tantrum was because of ron artest. and him antagonizing. even during a lopsided win by the pacers(real class act).the second one I cannot comment on but Ben wallace is know throughout the league and the media as one who could win the sportsmanship award every year.
MORE DISSINFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!
come on murph....study up

Re: So Sorry ...
You might not have gotten a championship, but there is more to basketball than that. Sometimes winning is just out of your hands and so sometimes some of the great things in basketball go unrecognized. What Reggie and the Pacers did in the playoffs and all season was a singular accomplishment in the history of basketball. There is no place in the record books for it, but I won't forget it.

Re: So Sorry ...
anyone who says the brawl wasnt at fault of the pistons is wrong
artest fouls him, it wasnt that hard of a foul, ben flips out, being a sore loser, thats class?? i dont think so, and artest lays on the score table not doing anything, and wallace is still trying to provoke him REAL CLASS RIGHT?
i dont blame the brawl for how our season turned out, but when people say the brawl was "two pacer players fault" it justkinda pisses me off...

Jackson and Reggie never seem to have good games together. One of them is always off and the other seems to pick up the slack.

Re: So Sorry ...
Can we please stop talking about the brawl. It's the same damn thing every time. A Pacers fan says "Detroit fans ruined our season," then a Pistons fan chimes in and says "It's the Pacers players' own fault their season was ruined," and finally someone fires back about how Pistons fans are classless thugs.
Enough with the pointing fingers already. People are responsible for their own actions. It's Ben Wallace's fault he tried to choke Ron Artest, it's John Green's fault he threw the cup, it's Artest's fault he went into the stands, it's Stephen Jackson's fault he followed him there, it's Jermaine O'Neal's fault he punched that fat kid. All five of these guys know they screwed up and now they just have to move on with their lives. Hopefully we fans can do the same.

I would have to agree with that explaination. Someone doesnt make another person do something like that. Each individual makes their own mind up to do what they want to, just cause you regret it later doesnt mean you get to pass blame.
