Just curious????????????
I was just wondering how u guys felt last year when we traded Harrington 4 S.J. , I mean obviously right now he's very welcomed here but what about last offseason... did u have doubts about him?? did u think we could of gotten some1 better than him? or did u guys liked the trade right away??...
As 4 me, I was very upset when I found out who we got, I mean I didn't even know who Jackson was (which right now I'm very ashamed of)....
but anyways I really thought we could of got some1 better, but given the season he had and the heart and courage and not 2 mention talent he displayed, I would not have it any other way.
I love S.J. and I really think he has twice the heart and versatility that Harrington will ever have....
1nce again another genious move from our front office...........P.S........
GO PACERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, the day we traded for Sjax, I was happy beyond belief. SJax was basically my favorite player that wasn't a Pacer....and when we got him I almost cried with joy. Looking at it now, I stand by my initial joy, harrington is a selfish player, we don't need or want that on our team. Jax brings a certain mentality to the game that I love. He's a warrior.

Re: Just curious????????????
I absolutely hated the deal at first. Harrington was our 6th man. He was a good post player to backup JO and also played good defense. I thought we could have traded Harrington for something much, much better. Now that I've seen a whole season of Jackson, I'm very glad we made the deal. If we had Harrington instead of Jackson this year, I doubt we would've made the playoffs.

I was indifferent when the deal was made. I thought both players could contribute the same amount to our team. After the season, I feel the same way, if not leaning slightly towards Jackson.

Selfish=caring more about 'starting' than helping the team. He demanded to be traded to a crappy team just so that he could 'start.' Even though he was still getting starters minutes at 30 mpg in Indiana, that wasn't enough for him because he didn't have the 'starter' label. To me, that is selfish because it has to be about the team first. SJax is much more of a team orieted player.

Completly right, u took the words out of my mouth.... S. JaX knows his role and is willing to accept it being a starter, bench, cheerleader, whateva he just cares about helping his TEAM rather than his pockets and rep, and u know what I'm so glad that it worked out that way, just look at all S.J. brings 2 the table...sweet 3 point shooter, clutch player (just ask the C's and the 2003 Nets), 1 of the few players on our team who can get his own shot, excellent defender, though very underrated, and he has a passion 4 B-Ball and 4 winning which is always a perfect combo...
I mean come can we really ask 4 anything more.... (NO!!!)
I really can't wait ti'll him and Ronnie begin 2 terrorize teams come next season, can't wait.........
P.S. I bet Al wishes he never left, and if he didn't he soon will after many more horrible season with the sorry Hawks, who need a miracle 2 win more than 20 games, let alone reach the playoffs....
GO PACERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Just curious????????????
I hated the move, and now I am pretty indifferent to it..
