I guess I missed this post.

How is that? Both are good jump shooters, above average defenders, and are athletic. Besides that, Freddie can actually be a go-to guy and drive to the hoop, while James just has to stand out at the 3-point line waiting for a pass. If he ever drives in, it usually results in a turnover.

Normally players that drive to the basket a lot get more offensive fouls than others.

JJ is better on defense, FJ is better on offense. They're pretty similar.

Although I think Freddie is a bit overrated on defense, JJ isn't great. Freddie still lets people by him often, but he still has some decent footwork out there, not to mention how much his athleticism helps him. With James Jones, he could have the potential to be a pretty good defender, but right now I think he just relies more on his athleticism. With experience will come his better defense.

Although the image of J.R. Smith shaking JJ to the ground is probably stuck in your mind, JJ has had many impressive blocks. A lineup with Dale, JO, and FJ in it would be a block party.
