Hey guys yesterday a lot of talk involved the Hornets trading starting center Jamal Magloire to the Raptors for picks #7 & #16. Todays Hoopshype has a report on Magloire being pursued by the Pacers anyone care to shed some light on this. Who would the Pacers be looking to trade for Magloire?
Actually he's not demanding a trade he has expressed he wants to play in Toronto before he retires so the Hornets suspect they'll be unable to re-sign him when he becomes a free agent in two years. The Hornets and coach Scott like Magloire and would want him to stay here but would rather get something from him if he's not going to re-sign, so trade while his value is high.

I thought I rememered reading an article this year stating that Magloire wanted to play on a winning team.
Well if you add Fred Jones and Scott Pollards' current contract for next season it does equal very closely Magloire's.
They would more than likely ask for more than that though obviously, unless
they really felt they had to get rid of him or he would not play up to par next season, kind of like Vince-Carter-itis?
