Trade Idea from the Knicks Forum

NY does it so they get Artest. Instantly makes the team better.
Indiana gets it to make room for Granger. Crawford could be a good backup SG and PG. Ariza and Sweetney also have talent.

I couldn't agree more. Although i like Crawford even if he jacks up two many shots. Artest in UN-TRADEABLE. Not only because of his value to the team, but what other player is worth 12-15 million a year and is only getting paid half that. if you find one , let me know.

To trade Artest, the trade would need to be very lopsided in our favour IMO. I dont see us getting a guy back for Artest who could come in and fill his spot. It would be nice to open a spot for Granger, but we are contenders with our current roster, and I for one think we should keep it that way and challenge for the title the next few years.

J-Craw and Sweetney are both one of my favorite players and I like Ariza but I still wouldn't do it... This trade would be bad for both teams.

Yes I seen that thread on the Knicks forum too. I think it is a horrible trade and no one would go through with it. Especially the Pacers staff.
