Hey everybody...
My name is Brett Bevers. I will be your beat writer for the Pacers this season! I thought I'ld let you know that my articles will start being posted today. I am very excited for the opportunity that I have been given by bbb.net! I will cherish this position and do my best to try to give this site a real connection to the NBA and the Indiana Pacers. I live for the Indiana Pacers! I am about as big a Pacer fan as they come... I am sure some of you rival me! I will do my best to cover our Pacers. Remember, I am just one of you all... no greater. So don't get mad at me when I make a mistake... because it is bound to happen... in any business. No one is perfect. But I will have a great passion for this job... so that will help alot.

I hope you will enjoy reading my articles... and I look forward to sparking a lot of debates on here (let's keep them friendly though)
Here is a little background info on me
- I am 23 years old
- I live in Seymour, IN... it is located exactly half way between Indianapolis and Louisville on I-65.
- This is my second job relating to the Pacers... I was a sign technician (rotated the signs on the scorers tables) for half the season last year in Conseco. I had a machine malfunction on me during a national televised game against Detroit

I lost my job the next day... it was really harsh and quite depressing for me. But... nine months later... I'm back in... THANK YOU, GOD!
- I had been in college for the last four years... I switched my major three times... and switched schools 4 times in that ammount of time... So, I decided to take a little break. I don't know how long I am going to wait to go back. I am planning on returning at some point to become a psychologist. Things may change... as life does... and I may go for something else. That is the true reason for my break... to decide what I am going to do
- I have a business idea that is currently in a patent application process. It is kind of secret though... sorry if I can't disclose much information
- I have been dating a beautiful red head for the last three years! She is very special and a very rare breed
- I am a huge, huge, huge Pacer fan... Jermaine is my favorite Pacer.
I believe this will be the most historic year in Pacers history... we will enjoy the ride together!
