Favorite Pacers playoff memory?

Let's keep this to games that you actually watched either in person at an arena or on tv.

For me, it's definitely got to be when Reggie dropped the 8 points in 8.9 seconds vs. the Knicks. I was in the fourth or fifth grade at the time (long time ago) and that was the day I became a die hard Pacers fan and a true basketball fan.

Reggie Miller verses New Jersey, when we almost upset them. I remember going into my room angry that we were going to lose, then came back out and saw that Reggie hit a 40 foot three to send the game into Overtime. Seeing Reggie dunking over people in overtime that game was also pretty special.

Rik Smits's shot against the Magic.

Reggie over Jordan for three. Especially the celebration afterwards. Only time I actually called people around the city.

Re: Favorite Pacers playoff memory?

Two moments really stand out for me.

1. May, 1998. It was a Monday i remember, we were down 0-2, heading to Conseco, and Jordan was going to finish us off. And off a screen from Harper, McKey gets the ball to Miller, and BAM! The whole hype before the shot, the celebration, it was unbelieveable. I will never forget the moment when that ball went in.

2. May, 1998. The round before the Bulls. A Sunday game, at MSG. Knicks played us real tuff, and with like 5 seconds left in the game, Reggie tied it to give us hope. Then in Over-Time, it was "Miller Time" as he scored something crazy, like 14 points. I think Miller out scored the entire Knicks team in OT.
