llI don't think it's that big a gamble for the Kings.They were going to lose Peja at the end of the season and they weren't going anywhere as things stood w/o making a move.Artest is under contract for what two more seasons?If he doesn't work out they ship him off for whatever they can get and probably don't lose that much on what they could have gotten for Peja.He can't exactly ruin this season for them,but he might save it.Next season they wouldn't have had Peja anyway so what the hell, roll the dice and pray.

Agreed...I'm just so bitter towards both Ron and the entire NBA right now that I'd be happy to see a headline tomorrow morning that reads "Artest and 3 other Sac Kings Players Arrested for Stealing Cars and Selling Drugs: Facing 20 Years to Life"
