Wow, God forbid the Nets actually have to earn it.

exactly yall dont even need to pay that garbage the time of day, Props to yall on getting the early 2-1 lead on the nets. ive said be4 the pacers were going to be a dangerous team come playoff time and i still honestly believe you guys are the team that matches up the best against Det, but thats a ways away still one series at a time. so best of luck to yall and since my poor sixers had a god awful season and are not in the playoffs the Pacers will be who i am watching since im a big JON fan

Re: Wow.....
Haha. Again? Pacers got some bull**** calls in game 3, as well as the Nets did. Both team's big men were in big foul trouble. We have more depth, so we survived better.

Re: Wow.....
Only about 30% of the people on the Nets forum know what they are talking about. Reminds me of all the bandwagon Bulls fans back in the early 90s.

Re: Wow.....
i think its funny that this guy think the Nets bring the ratings or the the Nets play an exciting brand of basketball... hes wrong on both fronts.
the nets rarely get national tv airplay, cant sellout their arena in the playoffs, and are generally still (not fair, but true) get overshadowed by the Knicks.
also, this isnt the nets of 01-02... they arent playing an uptempo princeton, fastbreak offense... quite the opposite. they are a halfcourt offense that relies almost exculisvely on ISOs. a real grind it out team on both sides of the court really. actually, pretty similiar to how indiana plays (minus the ISOs).

Re: Wow.....
Just for clarity's sake, I'm almost positive the Nets have sold out every playoff game the last few years.

I've been a season ticket holder for the past 5 years, in that span of time we have sold out EVERY playoff game and get about %90 attendance this year in the regular season. I can only recall 1 game in the past 4 years that wasnt packed and that was this year against the Bucks when it was a blizard.

Re: Wow.....
The Nets have sold out every playoff game this season. Differently, the Pacers only had 14,700 people in attendence for game 3 (approximately 1,000 free tickets distributed.) Game 4 you ask? Well there were about 16,400 filled seats. On the season for the nets, ticket sales are up 14 percent, second only to the Hornets who actually moved to a larger basketball market.
