Hope for Daniels' return is slim

Daniels is out with what the team continues to call tendinitis in his left knee. A return next week for the final three games seems unlikely considering he has done little court work.
Daniels' frustrating season went downhill when he reinjured his knee on a dunk against Toronto on Feb. 23. He has played 41 minutes since.
The Pacers, who are 3-14 since Daniels went down, have missed his unorthodox playing-making ability. Daniels has averaged nearly 14 points and shot 54 percent since the Pacers' trade with Golden State in January.
