Rashad Anderson: The second leading scorer for Egaleo of Greece, his 266 points ranked sixth best in the Greek Basketball League…his 60 3-pt FG during the regular season led Egaleo and ranked second in the league…he finished his collegiate career as Connecticut’s career leader in 3-pt FG made (276) and attempted (715), and ranked 15th all-time in career scoring (1,423 points)…he was one of only five players in school history to have made 200 or more career three-pointers…as a senior (2005-06), he earned All-Big East Honorable Mention honors after averaging 12.8 ppg off the bench in 22.4 minutes of play…he scored in double figures in 26 games…he scored 19 points, including a game-tying three-pointer at end of regulation, in an NCAA Sweet 16 win over Washington…he sank four 3-pt FGS vs. Villanova to pass Ben Gordon as Connecticut’s all-time leader in three-pointers made…he grabbed a career-best 10 rebounds in the Huskies win over LSU and scored a career-high 33 points, including a perfect 7-7 from behind the arc, in only 22 minutes in a victory over Morehead State…as a sophomore (2003-04), he was the third leading scorer (11.2 ppg) on the national championship Connecticut team…he was named to the 2004 Final Four All-Tournament Team after scoring 18 points vs. Georgia Tech and 14 points vs. Duke…he averaged 17.3 ppg and shot 48.8 from 3-pt range (21-43) in the 2004 NCAA Tournament…his 21 3-pt FGS set a UConn single-tournament record…he scored 28 points in a win over Alabama in the Elite Eight, matching the school-NCAA record of six 3-pt FGS he had set in the first round vs. Vermont.
Andre Brown: After being waived in training camp by the Atlanta Hawks in October 2006, he signed with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBADL, where he averaged 24.9 ppg and 12.0 rpg in eight appearances…that stellar effort led him to receive a Gatorade Call-Up by the Seattle SuperSonics in January…in 38 games for Seattle, he averaged 2.4 ppg and 1.9 rpg…with his team trailing by two points heading into the final minute at Conseco Fieldhouse, 2/7, he single-handedly outscored the Pacers, 5-2, down the stretch of a come-from-behind win by the Sonics…in all, he scored nine points on 4-5 FG and 1-4 FG with two rebounds and two steals against Indiana…that was the only game in which he had multiple thefts and his nine points tied his third best effort with Seattle…as a senior at DePaul (2003-04), he averaged 13.0 ppg and 9.2 rpg for the Blue Demons…he finished his college career ranked fourth in Conference USA history with 855 rebounds…he ranked eighth in DePaul history in rebounds, 10th in minutes played, 13th in blocked shots, 14th in rebounding average (8.0), tied for 16th in field goal percentage, 25th in games played and 28th in scoring…he is one of only eight players in school history to have 1,000 points and 800 rebounds in a career…he posted 28 career double-doubles…he held the Conference USA single-game record with 27 rebounds (vs. TCU as a sophomore)…he has also played professionally in Roseto, Italy, Daegu and Inchon Korea and Barangay, Philippines.
Kyle Davis: Since leaving Auburn University in 2004, he has played in Rome, Georgia (WBA), Huntsville, Alabama (NBADL), Surgut, Russia, and Dodge City Kansas (USBL)…the most games he ever played in any of those places was 13 games for the Huntsville Flight in 2004-05…in the NBADL, he averaged 5.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg and 1.8 bpg…he most recently played for the Dodge City Legend, where this spring he averaged 7.1 ppg and 5.2 rpg while playing in 22 of the team's 28 games…he blocked a team-high 44 shots and his 2.0 bpg ranked third best in the league…in 2006, he played eight games for the Legend, averaging 8.5 ppg, 8.5 rpg and 1.8 bpg…as a senior at Auburn, he averaged 6.5 ppg and 6.8 rpg.
Ronald "Boo" Davis: In 27 games for Maccabi Givat Shmuel in the Israeli Premier League, he averaged 12.6 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 1.8 apg and a team-high 1.6…he shot 74-125 from 2-pt range (.592) and hit 35-105 (.333) from behind the 3-pt arc…he scored 20+ points five times, including a season-best 26 points vs. Ironi Ashkelon...in another game against Ironi Ashkelon, he registered a double-double with 24 points and 12 boards--his only game of the season with 10+ rebounds…an All-Horizon League Second Team honoree, he averaged 16.3 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 1.2 apg in 31 games (all starts) for the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers in 2005-06...he started 60 of his 63 games in Milwaukee...he made 147 3-pt FGS in two seasons, including a team-best 91 as a senior…he scored a career-best 25 points at Tennessee Tech, 11/28...he also had eight rebounds in that game...he tossed in 21 points, all in the second half, in the win at South Dakota State, 12/6...he made six 3-pt FGS and collected eight rebounds in that game... he made a career-high seven 3-pt FGS, a Kohl Center record, on his way to 23 points vs. intrastate rival Wisconsin, 12/15...he tallied a game-high 26 points to go with six rebounds in an NCAA Tournament win over Oklahoma, 3/16...he had 10 points and nine rebounds in the NCAA Tournament Second Round loss to Florida.
Desmon Farmer: He started the 2006-07 season with the Seattle SuperSonics, where he averaged 1.6 ppg and 1.1 apg in eight appearances…after being waived by Seattle in January, he signed with the D-League's Tulsa 66ers, where had spent most of the 2005-06 season…In 32 games (20 starts) for the 66ers, he averaged 19.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg and 2.7 apg in 32.8 mpg…as a starter, he averaged 23.3 ppg and shot 46.9 percent from the floor and 71.6 percent from the foul line, compared to 14.3 ppg, 44.1 percent FG and 69.6 percent FT as a reserve…against the Albuquerque Thunderbirds, he scored a Tulsa franchise record 48 points, including six 3-pt FG…48 points tied for the second best performance in the league's regular season …he ranked 10th in the league in 3-pt FG accuracy by hitting 35.1 percent from behind the arc…his 73 3-pt FG made ranked ninth best in the D-League, despite missing a third of the regular season…he played the entire season for Tulsa in 2005-06, averaging 16.4 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 2.1 apg…while making a league-high 113 3-pt FG, he ranked second in the NBADL in 3-pt FG percentage (.428)…he ranked among the league's top 10 in scoring…a First Team All-Pac10 selection as a senior, he finished his college career fourth on USC's career scoring chart (1,606 points), second on the career three-point chart (203), and seventh in free throws made (353)…as a senior, he was third in the Pac10 in scoring (19.4 ppg)
Stephen Graham: A member of the 2005 Oklahoma State Cowboys team that reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, he averaged 6.5 ppg and 3.2 rpg as a senior…not drafted by an NBA team in 2005, he signed with the San Antonio Spurs, but was released just prior to the start of the regular season…after being released by the Spurs, he logged 16 games with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the CBA, where he averaged 21.0 ppg, 5.5 rpg and 4.3 apg…including 13-21 (.619) from 3-pt range, he shot nearly 58 percent from the floor for the Skyforce…as a rookie he also played a total of 22 games in the NBA between the Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers…in those NBA games, he averaged 2.6 ppg and 1.2 rpg…he had his most success playing 13 games for the Cavs, where he averaged 2.8 ppg and 1.3 rpg…his 36 points for Cleveland included 8-9 FTS…he started the 2006-07 season with the Portland Trail Blazers, where, in 14 games, he averaged 3.2 ppg and 1.5 rpg…waived by Portland in early February, he re-joined the Skyforce, which had moved to the NBADL…in 32 NBADL games, he 2as 10th in the league in scoring with an average of 18.0 ppg and he tied for fourth with a free throw percentage of 86.4 percent…he scored in double figures in 31 of his 32 appearances for the Skyforce, including a career-high 43 points vs. Colorado, 3/31…that was one of his 12 games with 20+ points during the season…after scoring just six points on 2-8 FGS and 2-2 FTS vs. the Arkansas RimRockers, 1/20, he scored 10+ points in 26 straight games to finish the season…in leading Sioux Falls to the Semifinals of the NBADL playoffs, he scored a total of 55 points in two games…in the Skyforce's opening game vs. Ft. Worth, 4/17, he scored 40 points and was one of just two players to hit the 40-point mark in the postseason.
I'm really rooting for Kareem Rush. I know he has gone down hill but I just hope he can comeback and play like he use to. He was a pretty good player for quite a few years and then just kind of fell apart.
I expect Shawne to be outstanding in this league. I don't know why they gave a spot to Grunfeld; he's a poor man's Morrison with less height. He's useless on this level.
