Past the first round of the playoffs. This team could be top 6 in the East and upset some unexpecting team. Every sports writer is so down on the Pacers right now, but they don't realize that Indiana won 6 out of their first 8 games post-trade and didn't start losing until O'Neal and Daniels both injured themselves. The East is so much tougher this year than in past years, so the Pacers don't have a chance to do anything besides upset a first round team.

The East certainly is tough this year. Which is why agree in that a REALISTIC goal is to try to make it past the first round. Granted as a team, you always have to say that you want to take it all the way...but I think that the farthest this current team can go is into the second round.

I hated not being in the playoffs this year...let's not do that again.

I think finishing at least .500, and making the playoffs is a fair expectation, barring any injuries of course, which is impossible here in Indy.
