They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you! Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers!" Can I get an amen? Can I get a hallelujah? Thank you Jesus.

Re: Pacers vs Bobcats 11/9 Game Thread
well, i missed the game (most of it.) but from what i was reading elsewhere, jermaine was getting ruled again. last time it was kaman and tonight it was okafor. this does not look like a coincidence to me. perhaps its because his conditioning isn't yet up to pace but, i also wonder if this guy isn't on the downward spiral of his career. i hope not but, i worry. the season is still young and this team still needs time to gel but, i think i am seeing some bad old things happen again like the throw it into j.o. ball where we stand around and watch him and we don't do much else. it also seems that since j.o. has returned, dunleavy has become more passive offensively and that hurts this team. we need dun to be more aggressive in order to be successful.
i wonder if oneal is right for the fast paced tempo? i have doubts. since he has returned, the team has looked like it has been struggling to find a place for him to fit in. i hope things can turn around but, i don't when that might happen. chemistry is a hard thing to develop and i will not give up on the season yet. but, there are areas for concern that is for certain.

I found this interesting:

In the two-game losing streak, the Pacers have been outscored by 39 points with O'Neal on the floor.

I didn't even watch much of the game. I had it on the whole time, but on mute.
From what I did see, Jermaine did play some nice help defense, drawing at least two charges again, but he couldn't guard Emeka Okafor in the post.
Dunleavy needs to be much more aggressive on offense. He's just as good a scorer as Granger.
We might just be missing Ike since Troy's always hovering on the perimeter and Jermaine's still taking mostly jump shots.
