Jermaine's slow start
Jermaine is one of my favorite players. I selected him early in the fantasy draft. I know he is coming off an injury, and that may be to blame.. but why the slow start? I can't watch full games of the pacers.
Thanks

Re: Jermaine's slow start
He has no elevation or explosiveness. He's hyperextended his knee 2-3 times now and has been in the NBA long enough that he's probably past his prime.
He doesn't dunk anymore, nor can he rise high enough on his jump shot so that it's easier to pull off. He's too slow to cross over or fake his opponents and too weak to post up. He's been better defensively, though, but I really think the team plays much better without dumping the ball to him every possession.

I wonder if JO is now part of the problem instead of the solution.

Don't know. I am probably the biggest JO defender here, and even I am scratching my head. He looks lost most of the time and not really into it. There's no excuse really...and he better turn it around.

This is what I dont get. Its baffling really.
62 points at the half against Dallas, leading by 8 WITHOUT JO. Its looking like he is going to be expendable

Re: Jermaine's slow start
O'Neal is done. Time to admit it. He wasn't that great to begin with and now he's just a shell of his former self.

Re: Jermaine's slow start
Wow, I thought the Mavs were going to kill the Pacers tonight especially since JO wasnt playing. I think its time to start the Diogu era. I've never been a fan of O'neals and I have wanted him to be traded for the last 2 years or so. They better pull the trigger while he is actually worth something.
