Bad loss today.. Carl Landry killed us.. Nobody shot well either. I mean, how can you win when nobody hits shots? Tinsley still sucks after coming back (the three points we lost by was his -3, Diener was even on the plus minus stat).

Tinsley was fine. He took 3 shots and dished 8 assists in 21 minutes, shooting the same percentage as Diener. He did turn the ball over too much, but the offense was in flow with him in the game. As long as he's not shooting, he's cool.
Murphy had a -6, Harrison a -5, and Dunleavy had a -3. The only positive players were Foster and Shawne.
No one shot well except Shawne Williams, who shot 7-9 and 3-3 from 3 for 17 points, yet still was only given 20 minutes of game time.
Thats not the point about his assists. He only passes when he thinks he will get the assist. Plus, he is too slow and doesn't play the tempo we wanna play, he tries to gt us to play the tempo of, say, the Spurs and that is not the type of team we are, let alone the style Jim wants to play. His defense is worse than Dieners also. And the only position that I look at on plus minus is the point guard, because it shows how the team plays when they are running it.

Considering he's the best ball handler and passer on the team, no one else should have the ball as much as him to isolate except pre-injury Marquis and lately Granger. What's the point of him dumping the ball to David Harrison or passing it to Shawne when he's guarded? Neither do anything unless they're open, and judging by the great cutting abilities of Dunleavy and uninjured 'Quis, this team thrives under Tinsley. Check out the last 6 games when Tinsley has played under 30 minutes (in 3) or not at all (in 3). They're all losses.
Now, ever since that initial injury and that 8-26 shooting night against Phoenix, Tinsley hasn't been shooting much at all. Since that game of 26 shots, he's shot 32 total shots in 6 games. Granted he has also only made 8 of those 32, but that shows how he plays injured. He's been way too passive to be effective, and this shows it.
We've lost 16 of our last 20 games. Look how well that relates to when Tinsley first sustained his injury. 23 games total since and 6 of them have been wins.

Completely wrong. Sure, he's slow, but that doesn't stop him from being the first up the floor every time and using his creativity to find others. He's the perfect PG for this team when he's healthy.
Check out his stats this year and compare them to a similar situation his rookie year. Besides fouls and a slightly improved 3-point percentage, they're almost exactly same. The offense wasn't the same, but the team was rather depleted and Jamaal was given more control.

Eh, Diener's like having Darrell Armstrong all over again. He's quick and tries to body his opponent, but he's too weak and short to be a decent defender. I like him more on the defensive end than Tinsley, but at least Jamaal is more calm and calculating before he starts playing risky defense.

What do you say to Diener's -11 and Tinsley's +3 last night? Now, I couldn't watch the game, but Diener had 10 assists to 1 turnover, making him seem like the better player for the team that game.

Actually I was a little Disappointed in Diener, but the only reason he didn't play as well as he normally does (he didn't shoot much) is because he hurt his foot in the first half, and Tinsley's knee was bothering him so Diener had to play anyway. He wasn't as quick, didn't want to jump, and his lateral quickness was terrible. Tinsley didn't have to play through his soreness as much so thats why Diener was - on the +/- chart.
