Is that because Daniels is shooting 29% in the last month? 5/18 in the last 30-ish days, including 4/13 this month. Him shooting 3% better than he has the rest of this year doesn't strike me as "starting to hit them." I don't know why you brought Rush's name into the conversation. He's not shooting well, sure, but I don't see why we'd play Daniels over Foster or O'Neal when we already have 4 shooters. Someone needed to grab a potential rebound, and it's incredibly pathetic that it had to be Travis Diener.

I was wondering this too. Exspecially, when he drove the ball in and did a turn around jump shot which almost airballed. Granger was on fire all game, why would marquis take any shot at such a crucial time.

Yeah, we desperatley needed an offensive rebound, and post defense during that final stretch. I guess it was more important for Jermaine to ice his knees though.

That's what's been bothering me about Marquis all season. Instead of actually finishing at the basket, he's settling for these strange jumpshots, and they never go in. It's actually as if he uses them as a weapon, too.

The worst part is that Jermaine icing his knees in the final minute could be the reason why we miss the playoffs. With a win we would've moved to within one game of Atlanta, but now we have to win against Washington and New York, and hope they drop their last two against Orlando and...Miami. Even worse is that unless we lose our final two and New Jersey beats Charlotte....and Boston, we won't gain any ground in the lottery. This last stretch will likely have been for nothing, sticking us at the dreaded #11 spot rather than the 8th or 9th we could've been.

I agree with that, funny thing is Murray hits them, its like he is beating Marquis at his own game.

Re: Game 80: Bobcats @ Pacers
Getting outrebounded is what killed us the most. When Jeff got hurt and JO was done for the rest of the game, bad things happened. 43-59...that is just HORRIBLE. Okafor was a monster on the boards...and Nazr Mohammed??? WTF how did he get all those boards? We were forced to rely on Troy Murphy at the end as our 'big man' when we could have brought in Diogu or even Harrison.
