Is O'Brien an idiot?
Does he honestly think Troy Murphy is our big man with Jeff Foster out?? 2 minutes left in the 3rd against Washington, we are being outrebounded...
19 REBOUNDS TO 44 REBOUNDS
5 OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS TO 17 OFFENSIVE REBONDS
We've played Murphy 20 minutes, Harrison 4, O'Neal 7, and Williams 1. I really don't know why JOB likes the small lineup, but it is just SUCKING BIG BALLS out there right now. Granger leads the team in rebounds with 7...what the f*ck is wrong with this team?

yeah... I dont get why we can make it close in the last 3 minutes everygame, but not the rest of the game. At least this year we have something to feel good about.
Granger has come on like a beast. All-star could definetly be in his future. 3rd straigh consecutive 30 pt game.
We actually have a draft pick this year.
We have some tradeable commodities I think.

If your leading scorers are Mike Dunleavy and Danny Granger, and you're two games out of the playoffs, then you are not an idiot.

Troy Murphy is your teams second leading rebounder....7.2 in 28 minutes is pretty darn good...you guys are way to hard on Murph! His per 48 minutes are better than Bosh, David West, Dirk, and Elton Brand (7 games)....sure he has a big contract, but he is better than you guys give him credit fir.

Yeah he's not a horrible player but he is definitely not worth all the money he's getting. It would really help us if we could get rid of his contract cause he just takes up way too much cap space for a player who's not worth it at all.

when you look at the roster, murphy isn't a bad choice. oneal was/is still on the road to recovery. the medical staff told obrien not to go over 20 min. a game and obie is smart and sticking to it. and i sure don't like harrison out there- he is a time bomb and will soon be someone else's problem child/project.
i listened to the final jim obrien show and came away very impressed with his honesty about the current state of the team. i also loved hearing him say how tinsley doesn't fit into the future plans. he spent a good deal of time talking about how we are going to go for players who can actually play and defend (not tinsley) |
