Key Matchup

Two very explosive scoring forwards. Anthony is a scoring machine, and can score anywhere on the floor. If I were coaching, Granger would be guarding him. Daniels is way too thin to be guarding someone like Anthony, though Jim O'Brien won't be smart enough to notice that. Granger isn't a piece of cake to defend either, so this is a very close matchup. I expect Granger to win this matchup, though.

Yes, he will be smart enough to notice that, and Daniels isn't going to guard Melo. I doubt even Rush gets a crack at Melo. He shouldn't because of the height difference, but we really don't have anyone else.

Poor start but we've gotten it as close as 6. Granger's pretty hot, Carmelo's not.

74-70, Pacers down, at halftime. Granger has 26 points in the first half. He could break 50.

Angry Re: 1/5/09 Pacers @ Nuggets

I really hate watching this team play, other than Granger (who disappears once the 4th. quarter starts, and has absolutely no post game) we have no one who likes to take crucial shots, and we have no interior defense whatsoever. Graham is garbage, and I have no idea why he was playing so many minutes tonight, Murphy's a good rebounder but is super soft, and has no inside game or defense, and Hibbert is sloppy and commits too many fouls, but he's a rookie so I really don't expect much from him...We got killed in the post as usual and even when Dunleavy comes back nothing will change and we will still continue to get killed in the post.
