Finally a statistic that shows the greatness of Foster!

By now, you should know where to find Jeff Foster.
Look for sound of bones crunching and/or the sight of bodies flying. The worst place to be on the court is between Foster and the basketball.
Just don't expect to see much of him in the box score.
Foster's game never has been about individual statistics. Sure, he'll grab large clusters of rebounds when extended minutes come his way – he had 34 in back-to-back starts against the Bulls and Heat recently – but he has never been much when it comes to glamour numbers like points, blocks and assists.
There is, however, one statistic that accurately reflects the value of his contributions. It is my beloved plus-minus. In that category, Foster is an All-Star.
For the season, Foster is plus 78, which means the Pacers have outscored opponents by 78 points when he's on the floor. This also means they've been outscored by 210 points when he is not playing.
No one else on the team is even close. Danny Granger is a distant second at plus 16.
