Who do we leave out to dry?
In the expansion draft?
If I understand correctly we can protect 8?
1) O'Neal
2) Artest
3) Harrinton
4) Foster
5) F Jones
6) Anderson
7) Bender (would rather trade than get nothing)
8) Miller (wont disrespect him like that)
We can hope they take Pollard and Croshere, although I doubt they would take both. What do you guys think?

Only one guy can be taken from a team, so unfortunately you can't unload both.

Freddie Jones has played pretty good this year but because of his short height he may/may not make our protected list. I'd like to see us protect.
1. Jermaine O'Neal
2. Ron Artest
3. Al Harrington
4. Kenny Anderson
5. Foster
6. Reggie
7. Bender (Still hope left)
8. Jamaal Tinsley
I think leaving Jones or Brewer out there is a definate maybe for the Bobcats to pick either. I've been impressed with what i've seen of Brewer and Jones and would like to keep both. Gotta keep Tinsley in there though, IR may he be he could still be decent.

Why? Because we've played so terribly without him?? lol
Tinsley and Croshere i would keep unprotected. If they take Tinsley, so be it. He's useless to us anyways. If they take Croshere, it will hurt a bit, but then, it wont because of his huge contract.
Fred Jones has shown upside and Jamison Brewer shows he's more valuable to the team then Tinsley, although, neither will ever be a solid #1 PG on a contender.

What happened to the endless potential of Jamal Tinsley, "The next great PG".
Great one day, trash the next...

Kenny Anderson will be an unprotected FA next year, and I believe that means that Charlotte can't pick him in the expansion draft and that the Pacers can't protect him.

Our 2 best PGs now are getting older and we need to stay decent at the 1 in the future. I really don't want Freddie running the offense and Brewer seems much more like a solid backup than starter. This leaves Tinsley who has passing skills, some shooting and driving, and stealing. I don't really want Tinsley starting but we should be ready for the future as well asthe present

I'd be happy with Tinsley starting.
I'd be happy if Charlotte took Croshere or Brezec
I could care less if they took Pollard, Jones, Jones, Brewer, or Anderson.

Just because our PG's are old doesn't mean we can't improve on them. Hopefully by next off season we will have some money. Possibly dealing a Jonathan Bender, hopfully Tinsley is gone and maybe Croshere taken by Charlotte, then we will have some salery cap space and i hopefully we can make a real solid run at Jamal Crawford who will be a free agent next summer.

I dont think JC is the answer. Hes a shoot first, not pass first PG. Thats why hes playing alot of 2 for the Bulls. We need an Andre Miller type of PG who will pass if he has the chance.

I like Jamal Crawford a lot. Infact he's my second favorite PG. We could use him because he crazy at creating his own shot and right now the only person on our team that can do that is Bender and to a lesser extent, Harrington.

I doubt us dealing JB, i've been hoping for that about every off season but it hasn't come true, hopefully in 2 years we will see that he really isn't a talent, just an athlete with raw skills. Despite our wishful thinking no chance in hell is Charlotte taking Croshere. Crawford shoots too much, he'd downplay Artest Harrington and Jermaine. If we need a pass-1st PG, Tinsley is still there if we need him. maybe.

Crawford is also a defensive liability. We are a very defensive minded team and I dont think he would fit in well here.
