The Seattle SuperSonics trade Vladimir Radmanovic, Brent Barry and Calvin Booth to the Indiana Pacers for Al Harrington, Austin Croshere and Primoz Brezec.
Now here are basically thoughts from the Sonics-
Positive-Barry's contract ends after this season and the Sonics can't agree with him on an extension. Harrington gives Seattle much-needed toughness inside and outside and Croshere gives it another outside scoring threat. The Sonics would be thrilled to get out from under Booth's contract. The Pacers really like Barry's combination of ballhandling and shooting skills. They are also happy to get rid of Croshere's contract, and get a shot-blocker in Booth
However- The Sonics are leery of parting with a young player of Radmanovic's potential just yet and Harrington's surgically repaired knee makes them nervous.
This trade could've been good, and have to include Pollard and Jerome James too...
