The East is now a 3 way race.
Am I the only one who is a little worried about the Pistons now that they got Rasheed Wallace? The East is now Pacers, Nets, and Pistons. This should make for an interesting finish to the season to say the least.

Even though we are 0-3 against you guys, it was a three team race before. Now with Sheed on board, it makes our chances that much better, at least I hope.

Pistons are now the favorites, even if Artest is 100% for the playoffs. If he isn't, Pacers unfortunately won't stand much of a chance against the Nets and Pistons.

I wouldnt go that far. We are still better than the Nets. I am not sold on them this year. We will have to see if Rasheed even wants to play for Detroit. To say we dont stand a chance is crazy. Even with Rasheed Wallace in the East now, Jermaine O'Neal is still the best big man in the east. Artest is still a baaad man and can shut anyone down. Dont ever put anything past Reggie. Just ask New York about how Reggie plays in the playoffs.

Did i miss something? When did Rasheed Wallace become Kevin Garnett or Tim Duncan??
Wallace is a SOLID addition and oviously Pacers were better then Detriot before the deal, now it's much much closer. It's really way too hard to predict which of the two teams (with Artest healthy) is better.
Also, Wallace could hurt the Pistons. He's wacky on the court. I personally wouldn't want him on my team.

i think that when the playoffs come around new york may be a contender as well.....
but i think the pacers can still pull it out and make it to the finals
this thumb is NOT going to keep artest out through the playoffs

Any combination of Knicks, Pacers, Pistons, Hornets and Nets will work for me.
Though I would like to see the Pacers-Knicks and Nets-Pistons in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Even though the Pistons got Wallace I think they still are a worse team then the nets. I think the nets are the biggest competitions for the pacers, after a twelve game winning streak, which is still not over, and they have taken over second place in the east, 1 game ahead of det.
