Why Artest guards Prince, not Hamilton?
Hamilton is the leading scorer of the Pistons. Why Ron Artest guards Prince, not Hamilton?

It would be a waste to have artest guard rip. Rip doesn't take his man one on one he comes off screen 90% of the time.

Still don't get the concept of anything do you? Nor the English language? Artest is a great man-to-man defenders, i.e. isolation, something Rip doesn't do. Chasing a Reggie wannabe off of screens would just be a waste of his talent.

waste of talent??
so its being fully used against prince who's their around player?
hamilton and billups do 50% of the offensive damage of their team, and so theyre the ones who artest should focus on.
notably hamilton. reggie can square off with prince... theyre both super boney.

Artest + Hamilton = foul trouble for Ron Ron
Ron is too physical to be dodging screens all game, he is more prone to try to muscle through them which gets him in trouble.
The Rip-Reggie matchup is good for both players (and very fun for the fans as well), I think they do about as good a job as a person could do on each other, but they are both very hard to defend. For Indy, team defense and good rotations are much more important to stopping Rip than a man to man matchup.
Besides, Tayshaun may be skinny, but if you try to guard him with a shorter skinnier player that is a major mismatch in Tayshaun's favor. The guys that have success defending Prince are the guys who are stronger than him and can keep him out of the paint. Prince would have no problem hitting that lefty hook on Reggie all night long.

because unlike RonRon's specialty Hamilton doesnt get his points (ok some) off the dribbe he gets them catch and shoot of screens, moving around in the post, getting out of the break and maybe a little post up now and then
