I love the France team (mostly because of Henry and also Zidane, but he's done), but damn, Ireland got screwed over. Henry's blatant hand-ball wasn't called and thus, Ireland is eliminated from the World Cup.

It was pretty blatant and shouldn't have happened. I was hoping that France would qualify, but that's a terrible way to get to the WC.

I've already seen one article come out and call Henry a cheat and saying that what he did yesterday is equivalent to baseball players juicing in baseball. Henry did admit that it was a hand-ball, by the way.

What's wrong with being honest about handballing? It's not Henry's job to police the game. There's a reason why the refs got hired. That`s why they`re here in the first place, to catch these things, to police handballing, whatever shenanigans they do in the game. I see no wrong with what Henry said.

It wasn't some incidental handball, it was obviously intentional and Henry's "Honestly, it was a handball, but **** you anyway" comment rubbed me the wrong way. He wasn't even aplogozing or acting sorry for cheating.
