Re: Match Day 14
I don't think you can pick on the Italians for diving when it seems to be something that helps you win and something all those Euro bitches do. I mean seriously if I farted in the middle of the street over there would everyone fall down and grab their knees. I know that I saw at least twenty times when those clowns pulled that crap without ever getting touched.

Re: Match Day 14
^ He is ****ing amazing. Well done Japan, they looked confident beating a strong squad.
Quote:
Slovakia vs. Italy was a real treat. Best match of the tournament thus far. The aforementioned Cameroon vs. Denmark match and South Korea vs. Nigeria were both great affairs as well, but the Thursday match was certainly better. Quagliarella did not deserve to lose, he had a fine game. Him and Pirlo made Italy look more potent in its last 30 minutes of the competition than it had the prior 240 minutes. Some players are getting criticism for their performances thus far, but I felt Hamsik's had been unwarranted in his prior two matches. The guy ****ing shows for the ball all the time, and he never gets it except for when he's in poor position and is being closed down long before the pass. I knew he would bring the goods against Italy, wanting to prove the doubters wrong and so he could take it to many players he knows well. He really bossed that match. All the love will go to Vittek, but Hamsik deserves it. He kept running and running and running. He came looking for the ball so much it was unreal, he wanted his fingerprints all over that match. Sadly, his teammates often ignored him or gave him the ball on his weaker foot, but he just kept creating space for himself by constantly running and he would just lay off his passes in an instant with a few brilliant balls. He was great at breaking up play and he seriously ran at least 12 km. Even when he was exhausted he kept running. As a fellow long distance runner, much respect. |
