How good do you think Nene, Leandrinho, Marquinhos, Tiago, and Anderson will be in the NBA? What about their stats in their prime?
I see Nene (if he works hard, and this depends on his role on the Nuggets) could be a 20 ppg 12 rpg 2.5 bpg
Leandro 19 ppg 7 apg 3 spg
Leandro, Nene, and apparantly Marquinhos and Tiago have the ability to be starts/borderline superstars.
I love Leandrinho's height and quickness and I think that he would shine playing shooting guard with a tall point (JJ???). Supposedly Nene is lazy, but if he works hard he also can be really, really, good.

So JGK, who has the best ability of them?
First we need to know what kind of ability you are talking about. IMO:
Athletic Ability:
1 - Nene
2 - Leandrinho
3 - Alex
Shooting Ability:
1 - Marquinhos
2 - Guilherme
3 - Leandrinho
Ball Handling:
1 - Marcelinho
2 - Leandrinho
3 - Marquinhos
Post Moves:
1 - Rafael
2 - Nene
3 - Tiago
But if we are talking about overall ability, here is my order, remember that this list takes in consideration that all the players fulfill all of their potential:

How good are the non-NBAers?
Right now, the players more ready for NBA are Rafael Araujo and Anderson Varejão, Marcelinho is a pure PG and could struggle phisically in the NBA level but he can produce if he is selected by a team that suits his style. Marquinhos, Murilo and Tiago will probably withdraw from this years draft. Guilherme is a guy that can become a pretty good player, even a star in Europe.

All of them have potential to be great, I am just guessing here because there isn't really too much to base my thoughts, the only one that played enough time in the NBA to provide more information for us is Nene. f everything goes right for them, here are the stats:

Yeah. Leandrinho, right now is better as a 2 than a PG, but he will and needs to learn to distribute the ball and read the game better, he has great potential and could be a star in the future.
I have been reading that Nene is lazy, but I really don't think that is the case, to tell you the truth I think it's the opposite of that, he comes out of nowhere and managed to put himself in the league, the kid did everythig he could and after a great first year people expected much more than what he has to offer. He is still raw and have tons of thing he needs to work in his game, in the past offseason he learned some post moves and started to hit an outside J, if he is lazy we will discover next season, but my guess is that he will improve his numbers.
OK, I think you are asking about the Brazilians that I think will make the NBA soon.
IMO, Tiago Splitter will be selected in the first round when he decides to declare, most likely next year. He is a PF/C, has a balanced game in the both ends of the court, have some post moves and a decent jumper. Nice athleticism and I see him as a pretty good post player when he bulks up.
I heard that Guilherme Giovannoni will attend to NBA summer league playing for Cleveland Cavaliers, he has a contract with Benneton Treviso right now, but when he signed he made sure he could leave to the NBA without paying any buyout. He lacks speed, but has a great shot, good range and pass the ball well. Smart guy. His chances to be in the league next season aren't very high, but I hope he can do well in USA.
Marcelo Huertas and Marquinhos, both have a good chance to be first rounders next year, it will depend of their pre-draft workouts.
Another guy that could find a place in the league is Murilo. The guy is a PF, with a nice touch around the basket, not super fast but developed a good frame and strength. Not very good defender.
If you are asking about younger guys, there are some names out there, some Brazilians are playing in Europe and some here in our National League. I can talk about them if you are interested, althought this would be just a guessing exercise for me.

Now that Anderson Varejão is a Cavalier (or at least his rights are) tell me a little more about his game and his potential.
First, I am almost sure that he will be wearing a Cavs uniform next season, Anderson really wants to play in the NBA and he feels his experience in Spain is over and he probably will pay Barcelona's buyout very soon.
I posted this in the Cavs board and in case you missed it, this should give an idea how Varejão plays:
Anderson is a fighter and with his style I bet he will turn into a fan favorite in Cleveland. He isn't a pure 4, Varejão can play some minutes as a 3, since he has a good mobility and shooting range (he is a tweener, similar to Gooden in that aspect), but his main position will be as a PF. Good rebounder and shot blocker. He is the type of player who won't demand the ball in order to be effective.
He has international experience, played for Barcelona (one of the top teams outside USA) at a very young age, something hard to accomplish. He didn't have big minutes there, but IMO his time in Spain helped him develop his game. Add to this the fact that he played for Brazilian National Team in the last tournaments and has being one of the main players there (he had a great game against USA Team in the Pre-Olympic tourney).
He developed his body in Spain but I think he will need more work in the physical area to be more efective in the NBA. If you have any specific question about him, just ask.
sorry if I haven't been posting for a while but . . .
it gave me time to conjure up some questions . . .
Recently I subscribed to NBADraft.net premium. On the Future International page where two Brazilians, Marcus Toledo and Eric Soares, as well as a recent addition in Ciao Torres. Unfortunately the profiles for Marcus Toledo and Eric Soares have not been updated in over a year.
For Toledo it lists him at 6'8" 210 lbs. SF/PF, and for Soares 6'9" 205 lbs. SF. Have these changed at all?
Have you seen them play, or have you heard about them?
If they pan out, Brazil will have a dynamic team in about five years, deep, ultra-athletic, and very, very talented. The problem is prying 6'0"-6'6" players who would play soccer or volleyball and get them to play guard.
If you have never heard of these folks I can PM you the profiles so ya can watch out for them.

I can't really say, since they are playing in Europe right now, but these seems like realistic measures.

I know all of them. They are young and we will need to wait a little bit to really know how their potential will be developed.
Marcus Toledo recently won a MVP award for his play in ACB's Summer League. The kid is a powerfull and has a good mobility. Needs to develop a more consistant jumper.
Caio Torres (born 1987) is a typical C, he will need to add some speed and work a little to cut fat and add stamina in the process. His touch around the basket is great and he is a pretty good passer too. He is headed to Europe too, let's see how he will produce there.
Eric Soares also plays in Spain, I didn't watch him lately, but I remember thinking he should develop his body and add some strenght.

We have pretty good young guards, the thing is that the NBA and Europe usually are looking for the big guys. Brazil is deeper in the front court, but we already have 2 guards playing in the NBA, and some others in Europe, this won't be a big trouble in the future.
If anyone wants to watch some Tiago Splitter's action on the Tau, just click [here]. He seems to be doing really well now that he has the playing time.
